Complete guide to Design Studio

When you do this

Use Design Studio before purchasing equipment or approving a preliminary network design for a new or changing site.

What this means

Design Studio keeps one customer's requirements and evidence together, measures readiness and freezes each generated analysis as an immutable snapshot that can be compared later.

Before you start

  • The project location, expected concurrent users, approximate coverage area and number of floors.
  • Environment type and primary wall materials.
  • Any floor plans, device inventory or reference images that may affect the design.

Do this step by step

  1. 1Create or select the correct customer project.
  2. 2Complete every required project requirement and review the Design readiness list.
  3. 3Upload evidence only to that project and wait for indexing where shown.
  4. 4Use Project Advisor for questions grounded in this project's evidence.
  5. 5Generate a Verified Design Run only when the inputs accurately describe the site.

How to know it worked

Design readiness is sufficient and a new timestamped run appears with its inputs, assumptions, gaps and preliminary recommendations.

If it does not work

  • If Generate Design Run is unavailable, complete the fields listed under Still needed.
  • If evidence is missing, confirm it was uploaded to the selected project and finished indexing.
  • Create a new run after material input changes instead of editing an old snapshot.

Important

A Verified Design Run is preliminary planning evidence. It is not an RF survey, final placement plan or guaranteed bill of materials.

What you will see on this page

These are the exact AXORIK sections to look for. Read them in the order shown unless the complete guide directs you to a specific finding.

1

Project requirements

Records location, users, area, floors, environment and wall materials.

2

Design readiness

Shows the completion percentage and every missing input.

3

Verified Design Runs

Creates immutable, timestamped preliminary analysis snapshots.

4

Project evidence

Stores plans and reference files inside the selected customer project.

5

Project Advisor

Uses only the project requirements and indexed evidence when available.

Recommended workflow

Follow these steps in order. If a step is blocked, resolve it before moving to the next one.

1

Create the project

Record location, expected users, coverage, floors, environment and wall materials.

2

Add evidence

Upload plans and references to the correct isolated customer project.

3

Resolve readiness

Complete required fields and review what remains unknown.

4

Freeze the run

Generate an immutable snapshot for review and handoff.

Safety and interpretation

  • A design run is not an RF survey.
  • It is not final placement or a bill of materials unless explicitly reviewed.
  • Evidence remains isolated to the customer project.

Can you now explain when and why to use this feature?

Mark it complete only when you know where to find it, what its main sections mean and what the safe next step is.
