Complete guide to Settings
When you do this
Use Settings when you need to manage the selected site's UniFi connection, choose which conditions create alerts, configure WhatsApp or email delivery, schedule reports, set report branding or update account access.
What this means
Settings is the control center for one AXORIK site. Its sections affect different things: Site & Service controls the connection, Alert Policy controls what deserves attention, Delivery Channels controls where messages go, Reports & Branding controls recurring proof of service and Account & Access controls your user identity.
Before you start
- Select the exact site you intend to configure.
- Confirm your role is allowed to manage the setting you want to change.
- For connection or credential work, have authorized local access to the UniFi console.
- For delivery and reports, have the approved phone number or email recipient.
Do this step by step
- 1Open Site & Service to review the UniFi controller, subscription controls and local controller credentials.
- 2Open Alert Policy and enable only the availability and infrastructure conditions that should notify this site.
- 3Open Delivery Channels, configure WhatsApp where included and send a test before relying on it.
- 4Open Reports & Branding to choose report type, cadence, recipient, brand name and public HTTPS logo.
- 5Open Account & Access to update profile defaults or change the signed-in user's password.
- 6Save each changed section separately and confirm its success state before leaving.
How to know it worked
The Settings header shows Ready, there are no unsaved sections, the intended alert and delivery controls are active and the UniFi connection remains current.
If it does not work
- If one section cannot load, retry that area and do not assume its previous state was saved.
- If WhatsApp or another capability is locked, check Plans & Subscription.
- If report scheduling is read-only, confirm that the signed-in role is Customer Admin or Super Admin.
- If controller access is rejected, confirm the credentials belong to a local UniFi administrator, not a UI.com cloud account.
Important
Never paste the UniFi administrator password into support chat, AXORIK Advisor or a cloud form. Enter reusable controller secrets only through the local credentials workflow.
What you will see on this page
These are the exact AXORIK sections to look for. Read them in the order shown unless the complete guide directs you to a specific finding.
Site & Service
Opens UniFi Controller connection management, Subscription Controls and local-only Controller Credentials.
Alert Policy
Controls device offline, device recovery, repeated instability, gateway outage and stale monitoring alerts.
Delivery Channels
Configures supported WhatsApp delivery and shows the readiness of WhatsApp, email reports and future webhook support.
Reports & Branding
Schedules supported report types, delivery cadence and recipients, and sets the identity used on generated reports.
Account & Access
Updates profile defaults and lets the signed-in user change the account password after authentication.
Recommended workflow
Follow these steps in order. If a step is blocked, resolve it before moving to the next one.
Choose the exact section
Use the left Settings navigation so a connection change is not confused with alert, delivery, reporting or account configuration.
Change one responsibility at a time
Review the current values, make the intended edit and use the Save action inside that section.
Test communication changes
Send the available WhatsApp or report preview test before relying on a new recipient or channel.
Verify site access after credential work
Require fresh console identity and telemetry before treating a credential update as complete.
Safety and interpretation
- Never paste controller credentials into support chat.
- Do not use the AXORIK account owner identity as the UniFi integration account.
- Unsaved sections are not active.
- A successful credential save is not enough without fresh evidence.

Can you now explain when and why to use this feature?
Mark it complete only when you know where to find it, what its main sections mean and what the safe next step is.
